WICHITA, KAN. (KSNW) — The NBC World Series ramped up with four games on Friday at Eck Stadium.
The Seattle Blackfins opened the day with a 6-5 win over the TPA Stix. Game two saw the Liberal Bee Jays suffer a 7-5 loss to the BTL Hornets. The Santa Barbara Foresters followed with an 8-0 shutout of the Great Bend Bat Cats. The Junction City Brigade blanked the Oklahoma Lookouts 7-0 to close out the night.
Wichita State ‘very valuable’ for TBT as it marks seventh straight year as host
Four more games are set Saturday to begin Baseball ‘Round the Clock. Six more games are on tap for Sunday.
