The Oklahoma City Thunder took a commanding 3-0 series lead over the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday night. Erasing a 29-point deficit on the road, OKC moved within one game of advancing to the Western Conference Semifinals.
In addition to the crushing defeat, Memphis also lost its best player. Taking a hard fall in the second quarter after being fouled by Lu Dort, star point guard Ja Morant exited the game and never returned. It has since been announced that he will miss Game 4 due to a hip injury (via ESPN's Shams Charania).
Morant has averaged 18.3 points through three games in this series.

Speaking with reporters, Dort revealed he apologized to Morant.
"When he was at the line, I dapped him up and I apologized obviously," Dort said (via The Memphis Commercial Appeal). "It's never good when a good player like that goes down. But people can say whatever they want. He dapped me up. That was it. That was enough. At least he knows that I didn't mean to take him down like that."
Despite fan outrage, it seems the NBA agrees the play was incidental, as there has been no disciplinary action taken. However, the league did make an announcement regarding a separate play Dort was involved in.
In their Last Two Minute Report for Game 3, the NBA announced Dort was on the wrong end of a blown call. Grizzlies guard Luke Kennard should have been whistled for an offensive foul with 19.4 seconds remaining in the game.
"Kennard (MEM) continues moving forward into Dort (OKC), delivering illegal contact that dislodges him from his defensive position," the NBA admitted.
