AJ Dybantsa has never lacked confidence in his game. He drew a lot of attention ahead of the NBA Draft when he demanded to have the No. 3 jersey if the Washington Wizards draft him.

The team did at No. 1 on Tuesday, and Trae Young welcomed him with a message on X. The four-time All-Star guard added that they’ll talk about the number soon. Dybantsa responded to Young on Wednesday. He kept it short and simple, writing, “say no more brudda.”

“ur lucky ur playing with trae, best pg itw,” posted another.

Dybantsa at small forward, Anthony Davis at power forward and Alex Sarr at center will be the team’s frontcourt.

The Wizards finished last season with a 17-65 record, which was the worst in the league. However, they are set for a stronger campaign following Dybantsa’s addition, along with a healthy Young and Davis.
