I heard on the radio this morning about some players, including Eric Bledsoe, testing positive for COVID-19 and having to go into quarantine for 2 days before joining the team.

I read one that said 3 days earlier, and I thought the same thing, too. Only thing I could figure on the 3 day one, was if they knew the person had it 11 days prior?

When NBA exhibition games start next week, nobody is playing 48 minutes (not that they would anyway). The games aren't even going to be 48 minutes. For the first game, 10-minute quarters will be utilized.

Interesting concept. I think the WNBA quarters are this long. Maybe the NFL should lower the minutes in preseason games to limit injuries, too!

It would be but I've found myself taking it a step further and wondering how we'd feel if somehow we not only snuck into the playoffs but went on to win it all. Would it even feel like a championship to us?

There is going to be an asterisk for any team that wins the Covid Championship but it will be a much bigger asterisk if one of the bottom dwellers pulls it off. How could it be viewed as legitimate knowing that the winner was a loser during the actual season? Regardless, I'd take it over any other outcome but I doubt it would feel anything like it normally would.
