Napoli come forward for Lille’s Jonathan David

Serie A side Napoli have a plan in mind to secure the services of Lille’s Jonathan David.

A report by Alfredo Pedulla via Area Napoli states that Napoli have made significant movements in the race to sign Lille forward Jonathan David. Despite Inter and Juventus leading the pack, the Partenopei have decided to insert a clause which would favour the player to earn his signature.

The details of the clause are still unknown but Napoli will have to prepare something of high value to deal the cutting edge in the race.

David will be available for free this summer as his contract expires this June. However, interested clubs will have to dig deep into their coffers as the player’s salary demands along with signing bonuses and agent commission fees are expected to be hefty.

The Canadian striker is experiencing a stellar season with Lille as he has netted 25 times and registered 12 assists across all competitions till now in the campaign.
