Germany boss Julian Nagelsmann raised eyebrows on Sunday with a series of outfit changes during his side's World Cup victory over Curaçao.
The 2014 winners got their campaign off to an impressive start with a 7-1 win over the debutants in Houston, but keen-eyed observers may have spotted Nagelsmann freshening up his look no less than twice.
Before kick-off, the manager appeared for a TV interview in a black Adidas sport shirt bearing the German crest.
At the start of the match, he stood on the touchline in a striped polo shirt and light-coloured trousers.
After the break came outfit number three, a plain black T-shirt with the names of fans printed on the bank.
And following the final whistle, Nagelsmann was back in the original sports shirt he'd worn before the match.
Asked by journalists on broadcaster ARD about the wardrobe changes, Nagelsmann said it was "very warm" during half-time and that the polo shirt he wore in the first half was too hot.
"The other T-shirt is a bit thinner, and it's got the fans on the back. I thought the mans made a great atmosphere and I wanted to reward that with a few names on the shirt."
