Eleven players make up my wish list to make the Final 53. Most pundits, from what I've read, don't expect many/any to make it on to our 'post cut' roster. In order:

1. Jeremy Ross
2. Cap Capi
3. Aaron Dobson
4. Rudy Ford
5. Ulrick John
6. James Summers
7. Elijhaa Penny
8. Josh Bynes
9. Will Holden
10.Peli Anau or Pasoni Tasini

The over/under for the number who 'make the cut' is probably around 3.5.

Under.

Three is the number IMO.

Capi and Bynes Will make it.

Penny and Ford have a shot.

I'd like to see some of them make it also but at who's expense?

cbus, it's like a game of domino's. One move affects another, etc. Mitch, selects the entire roster, I'm only pushing for a few guys that impressed me in the PS. BASK will do a good job in building a roster, I just hope a few of my pieces are included.

players on that list i like:

Ross -- good jack of all trades WR
Dobson -- long speed and atheticism. I see the attraction
Capi-- a poor mans Marcus Golden

players i dont for the final 53:

Penny-- yes size, but little burst or elusiveness.

I agree, karma.

I kept Penny as a key blocker on punts and field goals. I would expect him to get much action at RB, except perhaps as a situational FB and short yardage back. Penny takes Stepfan Taylor's role, in essence.

Prior to the Denver game, I'm going with the 'over'. Guys that look like they'll make it are:
1. Dobson, due to height and speed on the O/S.
2. Ford, as he's a better ST player than Miller, which is a greater need. We have four other safeties who will play defense ahead of either Ford or Miller.
3. John or Holden. Unless we go to the WW, one will be kept.
4. Penny's ST play seems to be getting a lot of notice, lately.

I'm still hoping for Capi and Ross, but feel that the $1M signing bonus paid to Jarvis Jones will seal the deal, unless there is an injury settlement. And Josh Bynes could sneak in.

While none of my top three picks made the cut, I do get five of ten, so the answer is the 'over'. We'll see what tomorrow brings.
