Everything about everything seems like I should nope out of this season. But I am not gonna darkside. I think MLF will scheme, Tip will chip, Beck will be okayish. We won't be great but we won't be *gestures vaguely* whatever last season was. The defense won't be as gross and injured. Will we win a lot of games? No. Will we absolutely check out? No. We will compete and lose. I am interested in how we compete.

Season tickets are on the line. Love will put butts in seats more than last year.

MLF needs to be a Scheme Queen. He has the personnel to do this. It's on the defense to lift back up. This is the DC test. FO has sold this season, for DC and the roster. But I think we overperform in growth, not wins. Last year was a dumpster fire in a tire fire and it was impossible to survive with positive mental health. I think this season might be exciting. Bad team showing well.

Talk me back on the ledge, darkside.

Will six wins do it for you, D-Dogg? I'm thinking that's where the Cards end this year. Maybe seven wins with a lucky bounce or two.

Sorry D-Dogg. In the overcrowded lifeboat after the Titanic went down, you'd be one of those elected to take off your life jacket and give it to a true believer. He who doubts, is already lost. Wave to us as you slip away. Be like Jack.

Playing hard and losing simply isn't good enough. That's rather unfair on MLF and the players, because they aren't the ones that've screwed things up, but that's where Monti has taken us. How many years do we give this dope to lose before we fire him? I'm not going to be happy or even content with a losing season that shows upside. No way! I'm tired of the "next year" crap. A winning season and maybe sneaking into the playoffs or else Monti is gonzo. The rope is shorter for Rallis and he maybe should be gone mid-season.

Last year I was pretty sure that the Cardinals would contend for a playoff spot and definitely finish ahead of Seattle in the West. This year I'm pretty sure that they will finish last in the West and not be in the playoffs.

It's official...the Cardinals will be in the playoffs.

The injuries on that team last year were ridiculous. Being healthy again this year is going to help the defense out a lot.

If the same type of injury rash occurs then you can bet your ass it is directly linked the the cardinals sub par practice and training facilities.

Reality is if we win just 3 more games, he'll probably be back. "Look Cardinals fans. We're on the way to competing for a playoff spot!"

No matter how you slice it, this is a “reboot” year.
It will take 7-8 wins to restore hope in the fanbase. With this schedule that seems unreal.

I also will not "nope out" on the season. But I WILL keep my darksider credentials in tact. I will, as always, hope for the best but expect the worst. Most of the time my expectations are met.

nah...facilities do not cause a guy to get injured the next day on the field.
its the workouts. training staff has them stressing muscle groups too many days in a row that directly relate to the football movement they do on the field.

I really don't understand why 6 wins would make people happy. That'll make acquiring a top qb very difficult.
The fact that people continue to think the Cardinals can draft and develop a top QB is amusing. Let's face it, the most successful QBs to play for AZ, with the exception of broken Lomax, came via trades and free agency. If the 2027 and beyond QB isn't already on the roster today, he sure as crap ain't gonna be in the next draft.

I thought Plummer was pretty good anyway that was ion's ago.

Wait and see who knows with a different coaching staff?

Won't it help that we actually have a QB Coach now?

Plummer was great for the team's fans and its image. Gave us hope. He took us to the playoffs and we beat the dreaded Cowboys in their house. Most success the Cards had since the 70's in St. Louis at that point.

My issue with the other idea of the thread is that MLF is a master schemer. We don't really know that, he hasn't called plays a whole lot. His Jets offenses weren't good for a multitude of reasons.
