YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Since beginning the season at 3-3, the Mooney boys basketball team has flipped the script; winners of four of their last five outings following the Cardinals’ 53-42 victory over Warren JFK.

Dante Turner led Mooney’s offensive attack with 17, as Kingston Powell added 12 and Ford Stacy collected 11 points.
Next Friday, Mooney (7-4) will travel to rival Ursuline.
The Eagles were led by a pair of double-digit scorers: Trevin Rinck (12) and Henry Phillips (11). Anthony Georgalas also contributed 9 points. JFK connected on seven 3-point baskets.
On Saturday, Jan. 10, Kennedy will take on Perry on the road.
