ATWATER, Ohio (WKBN) – It was a night of pure dominance on the diamond as Xavier Klamer hurled a no-hitter to power Mineral Ridge’s commanding 7-0 victory over Waterloo.

Klamer dismantled the Vikings’ lineup with 11 strikeouts as he issued only two walks.
While Klamer was dealing on the mound, the Rams’ offense provided plenty of support, led by a breakout performance from leadoff man Jackson Geddes.
Geddes reached base four times, registering two doubles and crossing the plate four times.
Andrew Gillie kept the momentum going by finishing 2-for-3. Dom Balestrino put together a multi-hit night as well, closing out the game with three hits.
The Rams (4-3) have now moved above the .500 mark as they’ll look to carry this momentum on the road this Thursday in a matchup against South Range.
