Fans of the Boston Celtics are getting familiar with the game of new Boston big man Chris Cenac Jr. via his play at Las Vegas Summer League, and are quickly falling in love with the La Place, Louisiana native's game. But while we are on the topic of Cenac suiting up for the SIn City Celtics, the former Houston standout has a teammate from that school playing with him on the Summer Celtics who knows his game very well.
That would be guard Milos Uzan, who has turned some heads himself with his own skills in Las Vegas. Uzan had nothing but praise for his fellow Houston alum after Boston's last win of the annual summer exhibition series.
"He just continues to get better," said Uzan of Cenac via CLNS Media. "I remember seeing him in June during summer work ... making little plays or doing too much, ill-advised shots sometimes."
"And I feel like his growth throughout the year, I saw him make a play the other day where he caught it on a short roll and hit the corner, guys," he added.
"I could see him getting so much better. And he's already a great rebounder. And with Chris, he's such a good listener as well. I think he's going to continue to grow and get better."
