Michigan State basketball's 2024-25 season was one to remember, with the Spartans winning the Big Ten regular season championship, while making a run to the Elite 8 in the NCAA Tournament. None of that would have been possible without the rise of true freshman Jase Richardson.

With the rise Richardson has had, he is going to be a one-and-done at Michigan State, officially entering himself into the 2025 NBA Draft and forgoing his remaining eligibility.

Richardson came in as a four-star recruit getting bench minutes, and now is leaving as a Spartan star that is likely to get picked in the lottery of the upcoming NBA Draft. In his one season with the Spartans he averaged 12.1 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.9 assists.

In just one year, Richardson cemented himself in MSU's history, and will be a fan favorite for Spartans moving forward, as he takes his next steps into the NBA.
