When the United States takes the ice at the 2027 World Junior Championships in Alberta, Canada, it will be led by Michigan State head coach Adam Nightingale. Nightingale was given the honor of leading his country's team to the 2027 world juniors, which rounds out his career following his time with the national development team.

With Nightingale taking over, he is going to need some help, and he did not look far to find a couple of assistant coaches to bring with him. Current MSU assistant coach Jared DeMichiel will join Nightingale behind the bench for team USA, while the Spartans Director of Athletic Performance Will Morlock will join USA as a strength and conditioning coach.

It will be a team led by Spartans as the United States look to regain the gold medal on foreign soil.
