Michigan basketball wins national championship, social media reacts

Monday is what college basketball is all about -- more than the regular season, more than the outset of the NCAA Tournament, more than the Final Four. The goal is to win the national championship, and Michigan basketball did just that on Monday night in Indianapolis.

And with that, social media exploded in reaction.

After the Wolverines took down the UConn Huskies at Lucas Oil Stadium, 69-63, national media types, other internet personalities, former Michigan basketball and football players, and more, took to X (formerly Twitter) to exult in the greatness of the 2025-26 maize and blue team.
