The U is back, and it’s becoming harder and harder to deny it. Mario Cristobal has landed yet another elite talent towards the 2027 Miami Hurricanes recruiting class in 4-Star cornerback, Ai’King Hall, who flipped his commitment from Oregon after being committed to the Ducks since early April.

With Hall’s commitment, this now brings the Canes total commits to 12, which includes two 5-Star prospects, seven 4-Stars, and three 3-Stars according to On3’s recruiting class rankings. Below is the full list of their commitments for the 2027 class.

  • 5-Star CB, Donte Wright
  • 5-Star WR, Nick Lennear
  • 4-Star QB, Israel Abrams
  • 4-Star CB, Ai’King Hall
  • 4-Star IOL, Sean Tatum
  • 4-Star DL, Ezekiel Ayangbile
  • 4-Star RB, Ty Keys
  • 4-Star TE, Demarcus Deroche
  • 4-Star S, Jaylyn Jones
  • 3-Star CB, Sherrod Gourdine
  • 3-Star IOL, Tyler Ford
  • 3-Star DL, Josh Johnson

As the Canes' 2027 class currently sits, they hold the sixth-ranked class in the country and the first in the ACC. Miami is far from done with their 2027 class, though, as they’ve been linked to over a handful of elite prospects that are still on the market. Linebackers Kaden Henderson, AJ Randle Jr., and Noah Glover, interior lineman Jatori Williams, and defensive linemen Jamar Thompson and Kaiden Robinson Vickers all have the Canes on their radar.

The Canes' 2027 class surely fed off their eighth-ranked 2026 class, which has Miami bringing in 33 players out of the class, including 5-Star offensive tackle, Jackson Cantwell, the number one player in the class. Miami has 18 4-Star signees and 12 3-Stars coming in as well. Some of which could make an immediate impact throughout the season.

The Canes will kick off their 2026 campaign on Friday, September 4th, on the road against Stanford.
