For the third consecutive year, McQuaid and Penfield meet to decide the Class A section champion.

The teams split the previous two finals meetings. McQuaid won a defensive struggle in 2024 en route to the state championship, while Penfield countered in 2025 with a high-scoring win.

While Penfield has more wins and a higher state ranking, it's McQuaid that owns the top seed. Such things will mean little, though, when sticks cross on Saturday.
