Fairport and McQuaid, the finalists in the Section V Baseball Class AAA Tournament which are ranked top five in the state, meet in Game 2 of a best of three series.

McQuaid, with a win tonight on its diamond, repeats as the Section V Class AAA champion. The Knights lead the series 1-0, after winning Game 1 at Fairport, 2-1.

Fairport's loss, the first after winning 20 during the regular season, means the Red Raiders must win. A victory by the Red Raiders means a Game 3, May 30 at ESL Park, home of the Rochester Red Wings.
