Apparently, players on the Wolves are surprised about the release of Kevin McHale as coach.

How can this surprise anyone? The guy has been running that team further and further into the ground year by year. 15 years and he never got past the first round of the playoffs and his dismissal is a shock? I appreciate players liking their coach, but does anyone honestly not think McHale was a horrible leader for the Wolves?

The big surprise is that they didn't fire him 10 years ago.

they did make 1 decent playoff run, but I agree this should surprise no one

it seems he was really well liked by the players and obviously he had a connection with taylor ....... that doesn't make him competant though

he's done a really bad job with that franchise

In a van...down by the river.
So far Ainge has proven to be the more competent GM among the former CELTIC'S great's (Bird/Indiana, McHale/T-Wolves,Ainge/Celtics).
Actually, he was just hired by a better franchise than the other two.;)
