Maurkice Pouncey

Anyone think the Cards would have interest in Florida center Maurkice Pouncey? Watching some highlight clips of him and he looks like a long-term solution for anyone looking to upgrade that position.

I like Sendlein and think some people have been too harsh on him. The moment he went in the Cards line improved overall. Sendlein has some physical limitations, but he gets the most out of his ability and he's a smart player.

But Pouncey looks like he could be an All-Pro down the road. And he might be able to play guard if the need came up. He has incredible (!!!) feet and a great feel for the game.

Yeah. Somers even said not too long ago that coaches believe he will develop in to a Pro Bowl caliber player. That surprised me to be honest.

We do need some decent depth behind him though.

Lyle isn't going anywhere. The staff is high on him and he played much better this year. I really wanted to replace him last season and paid a lot of attention to centers in the draft and I haven't even looked at the prospects this year, because we won't be drafting any of them.
