michael wilson running puka routes across the middle with mcbride flying by in the opposite direction - marv finding space right on top of them - love releasing off the chip block - play action - or sliding out of the backfield for the screen with tip reiman out front to bulldoze - mikey has to likey - it's probably why he came here

Ron, as bulked up (assuming he's strong too), he should be blowing up the smaller DB's. That's not the case from TC videos I've seen. My take is he seems to nice to want to hurt someone and as a result, plays soft. If I were his size, the first thing I would do is ram one of the DB's - I'd look for someone to hit! He's not quick enough or fast enough to blow by guys so he has to learn to use his strength.
I said last year he just doesn't have that dawg in him. Doesn't comeback for balls, doesn't go up hard at contested catches, etc. He's soft.

that turd got mcbride 11 touchdowns and allowed michael wilson to become a phoenix - rising from the ashes of kyler murray
You should look up Jeff George. Lead the league in passing yards, have a 3 to 1 TD to INT and only won 4 games. I can only assume that you have Wilson and McBride on you FF team at this point.

X receiver was the role from Marv’s rookie season where we all decided he needed to play inside and on the move more.
Yup. Hopefully he can show he can adjust to that role better in year 3 than year 1. Maybe the new coaching staff and QB will hold him more accountable as well. We will see.

I'm curious if MLF will split more of Puka's role between McBride and Wilson because it seems like McBride has a skill set that exceeds how the Rams used TEs. I think it also makes sense for McBride and MHJ to be on the field together in heavy personnel because of how versatile McBride is and McBride and Wilson might be a bit redundant. These are the things I am looking forward to seeing play out.

i tried fantasy but ended up having to root for other teams - couldn't do it - only other option was all cardinals meaning last place

I'm very curious to see what Kendrick Bourne does as the slot receiver. I've always felt that he can be that 3rd WR who will get you those 500-600 yards each season. A guy who doesn't put up big numbers but moves the chains. Will be watching him closely during the preseason.

i've always liked Bourne.

That's an interesting question. I would hope that MLF would adapt his system to take advantage of Trey's strengths. I'm guessing Trey will be used more like George Kittle is in SF? Definitely something to look for in the coming months.

.

mhj will see a lot of one on one outside - if he's successful then he also becomes successful in keeping the safety honest (or atleast one of them)

marv's been open a lot in camp - winning the separation battle with sharp routes instead of trying to sprint past - i'm hoping that's all lafleur
All he has to do is catch the ball

Not sure he can make catches when we really need it

His hands are still suspect at this point

there's been a lot of talk about the same route wilson and mhj were running in camp - which is funny to me because they won't be running the same routes in the season because one is an X and one is a Z
The salient issue is not the specific route that's being run - it's that Wilson has spent the last couple of years working successfully on perfecting his craft, while Harrison still runs the same slow, lazy, sloppy routes that result in being either in the wrong place or getting to his spot at the wrong time, exacerbating the difficulty level for himself and his QB... and then he still drops the passes that hit him right in the hands perfectly in stride.
