Lawrence Mauroney wasn't good when he was a Patriot, he was downright awful for the Broncos. Things must be awful indeed if fans are considering that he'd be a good addition to the Cards.

It took two years for every piece of garbage another NFL team didn't want anymore to become a reasonable starter for the Cards again. :bang:

Maroney did quite well with NE.
But I do not see him as a viable option for the cardinals,
He is too similar to Beanie, a good running back(he had more yard in his first 3 seasons than Tim Hightower) but not a prime receiving option(highest receiving total is 22). Also seems to be injured, as most of his good seasons, he only played in 14 games.

Do you know how many games Maroney started for the Pats in his entire career?

Fourteen.

His biggest season in New England he rushed for...

835 yards.

This guy was a 1st round pick whom the Pats moved up to snatch from the Colts, who "settled" for Joseph Addai instead.

The guy is garbage. He has a big fantasy play for a year because he was a complementary piece in a productive offense, but he's been a disappointment since coming in to the league.

"Maroney Deported to Sweden; Claims He's Not From There"

LOL. That's because the years haven't softened Maroney. He continues to murder the English Language, and anyone who gets in his way.

The short pre season and the injuries have just been a disaster for the Cardinals. We've been reduced to hoping that the team will be ok because we play crummy teams to open the season and hoping that players will come around by game 8 and our average at best QB even at that level is light years better than what we saw at QB last year.

Sadly it looks like its going to take at least 2 years to rebuild what we had in 2009 instead of one as we hoped.

Nah. Half of the time these types of threads are made, 70% of the people say "no thanks."

Things were awful when we were nearly doing cartwheels when we almost traded LJ Shelton for Travis Henry.

BTW: no thanks on Maroney. Keep walking.
