Mark Andrews: 'I've always felt like that guy'

Declan Doyle will be thrown into the fire immediately as the Ravens' new offensive coordinator and the coach tasked with getting Jackson to the Super Bowl. Despite missing four games due to injury, QB Lamar Jackson finished with 2,549 yards, 21 TDs, 7 INTs, and a 103.8 passer rating (No. 4 in NFL). His 8.1 net yards per pass attempt tied for the NFL's third-highest rate. Now, it'll be on Declan Doyle (OC) to truly unlock Jackson's potential.

Ravens tight end Mark Andrews was asked how he views his role in the offense following Isaiah Likely's departure in free agency and whether he now sees himself as the clear top tight end in the room.

“I feel like we've had a great room in the years past, and [I have] always felt like that guy. I don't think that ever changes. So, that's an interesting question. But I think that for [Isaiah Likely], I'm excited for him and his opportunity. I'm excited for Charlie [Kolar] and his opportunity. I'm going to continue to get better and grow my game, and I think there's going to be a lot of opportunities in this offense.”

Andrews enters his eighth season in Baltimore as one of the most established players in the offense and has been a central part of the Ravens' passing game throughout his career. He also noted excitement for the roles of Likely and Kolar moving forward in the offense.

Last season, Andrews finished second on the team in receiving with 48 catches for 422 yards and five touchdowns.
