Every year the Madden video game franchise simulates the Super Bowl between both teams participating. Per tradition, the latest installment of Madden 26 has kept this unique trend alive and well. On Monday, Madden released the results of their official Super Bowl LX simulation, and it's going to make the 12th Man happy.

The Madden simulation has the Seattle Seahawks reigning triumphant as Super Bowl champions following a narrow 23-20 virtual victory over the New England Patriots. Madden had the Seahawks taking a 14-0 lead in the first quarter, which became a 14-3 halftime lead. However, a pixelated Drake Maye led a comeback in the third, fueled by a fumble recovery touchdown from cornerback Christian Gonzales from tight end AJ Barner to tie it 17-17 going into the fourth quarter.

Seattle ultimately earned redemption for Super Bowl XLIX with a last-second touchdown run from Kenneth Walker III to right the wrongs of the past. You can watch the simulation here, if you are inclined to do so.

Before anyone brushes this development off as a non-story, let me hit you with some facts: the simulated Madden winner has gone on to actually hoist the Lombardi in 13 of the last 22 Super Bowls, including the last two-straight. Madden is also 2-1 in predicting the correct outcome of Seahawks Super Bowls as well, which correctly predicted the 28-24 final score of Super Bowl XLIX. The one they got wrong was picking Denver to win 31-28, but in fairness, it's not like anyone outside of the Seahawks team itself was going to pick a 43-8 blowout.

So take this as you will, 12's. Madden is predicting a second Lombardi to be put on display at Lumen Field for you to enjoy. We'll find out on February 8th if their forecasting hold up!
