Oct. 9—BEMIDJI — The Bemidji High School girls swimming and diving team shook things up on Thursday against Bagley/Fosston.

The Lumberjacks gave priority to seventh and eighth-grade swimmers against the Flyers, leaving the varsity veterans to fill in the pieces throughout the lineup. BHS beat B/F 114-67.

Kiera Strodtman won the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:06.58. She also won the 100 free in 56.45.

Elle Wille took first place in the 200 individual medley at 2:23.75. Wille was also part of the victorious 400 freestyle relay team with Sadie Borg, Abby Daman and Jaelyece Jones with a time of 4:14.25.

Quinn Friedt and Josie Carter finished back-to-back in the 50 free with times of 27.30 and 27.47, respectively. Friends also won the 100-yard breaststroke (1:19.27), while Carter won the 500 free (6:01.56). Carter also competed with Jones, Daman and Yoder in the 200 free relay, which finished in first place at 1:53.33.

Finley Zothman won the 100-yard butterfly in 1:01.56. She also won the 100-yard backstroke at 1:06.67.
