It's safe to promise that you've never seen a flyball caught like this before.

Luisangel Acuna found a way to be about as nonchalant as possible while holding on to a one-run lead with the Chicago White Sox against the Kansas City Royals on Monday night.

The summary is this: Acuna caught Maikel Garcia's flyball while biting down on a piece of paper in his mouth.

It was the defensive positioning card that players take out to their positions with them to know where to line up for each individual hitter.

Apparently, Acuna didn't get it put away quickly enough before Garcia put the ball in play.

It didn't hinder him, although it was a bizarre look:

This is a bit of an odd season for Acuna anyway.

The little brother of Braves superstar Ronald Acuna, Luisangel was traded from the New York Mets to the White Sox this offseason as part of the Luis Robert Jr. deal. And he was an infielder his whole life until now being moved to centerfield.

That's not to make an excuse for whatever happened in this moment for Luisangel Acuna, but it's key context.

This isn't his usual stomping grounds, and he's clearly still getting used to it.

But at least he caught the ball. That's the most important part.
