with all the drama surrounding Staffords future... this is a great move by the lambs..
if McVay could fix goff, he can definitely win with Baker

Bright side... there has always been competition between Baker and Kyler... if Mayfield sticks with the Rams, it could remove that fear kyler has of them and improve our lifetime W/L record against them

Sure, some of his injuries are due to hit and some are not. It's about 50/50 with him. He missed 4 games for a strained glute.

He's had a hip strain, thigh strain, hamstring strain, along with the glute. He's also had two high ankle sprains and an AC joint issue. Some of those injuries are very Rondale Mooreesk!

And according to this site, McCaffery is slightly more injury prone than Moore.

bright side to that... other than the ac,...all of those tissue injuries are due to playstyle and not impact.... most likely not developing into long term nagging injuries and can be avoided just by not juking guys out of their socks as much and just going out of bounds.

You can make this argument with so many RBs. The overarching point is that RBs take a beating and can get seriously injured at any time. It is not predictable when it is going to happen only that it will likely happen. Best thing you can do is get a special one, run him into the ground and try to not get stuck holding a ton of dead money when he does break down.

If you want an example of how teams mismanage this, just look at Denver and Javonte Williams. What good did saving him for the end of the season do? Henry got injured last year and is fine this year. Barkley same.

If it is not degenerative or concussion related you are kidding yourself if you think you can predict it.

All true. Which is why it's dumb to trade that much for a RB.

So... it's good news that all he has to do to avoid injuries is stop doing the things that make him great?
