As the Pittsburgh Steelers roster currently sits, several positions are thin where the starter is established and there isn't much behind them, several spots are much deeper and we are looking forward to some big positional battles when the team gets together at training camp. Here are five of our favorites to watch.

Cornerback

Asante Samuel Jr. vs Daylen Everett

We went into mincamp assuming the No. 2 outside cornerback on either side would be Asante Samuel Jr. but the rookie Daylen Everett has come on strong and will put him for reps in camp.

Right guard

Spencer Anderson vs Brock Hoffman vs Gennings Dunker

Right now, the veteran Anderson has the starting right guard job but we are rooting for the rookie Gennings Dunker to come on strong in camp and take the starting job before the start of the regular season.

Right tackle

Dylan Cook vs Max Iheanachor

We haven't heard much from first-round pick Max Iheanachor but Dylan Cook seems to have settled in at right guard.

Wide receiver

Germie Bernard vs Roman Wilson

Bernard has wowed at minicamp as a rookie and Roman Wilson is fighting for redemption after a rough start to his career.

Running back

Jaylen Warren vs Rico Dowdle

Warren is the incumbent but we don't think new head coach Mike McCarthy cares about that after bringing in Dowdle, who has played for him before.
