Longo: ‘Can hardly say no’ – Milan and Napoli to battle for Orsolini this summer
In the past few months, Riccardo Orsolini has proved himself, once again, to be phenomenal, and a few Serie A teams are taking note. In fact, AC Milan are one of the leading parties.
Since returning from injury, the Italian has returned to his superb form, and he is quickly becoming one of the most discussed players in the league, considering that with each goal he scores, he sends a message.
As Daniele Longo writes for Calciomercato.com, the winger always goes to the camera and knocks, a message to Luciano Spalletti, but he is not the only person hearing that knock. In fact, the knock is being heard by other teams in the division.
With his contract expiring at the end of the 2026/27 season, discussions will take place about his future this summer, and it is possible that the 28-year-old will leave Bologna for a move up the ladder.
It is a feeling which he has already experienced, with Orsolini having the legitimate desire to make a ‘definitive leap in quality’, which is very possible.
Of course, a renewal may be possible. However, Milan and Napoli are waiting, ready to enter the picture at a moment’s notice, and considering how much Geoffrey Moncada tried in January, there is a feeling that the attempts have not finished just yet.
