temporary stay... this was expected, no? most reports were that there would be a temp stay at least until monday. no time-table's been set yet, correct?

I wish they would try to settle this at the negotiation table rather than through the judicial system.

As this works its way up the courts they will start siding w/ the owners, unless a CBA is agreed upon. Usually the higher courts support business.

the weird thing though is the high courts usually support conservative line of thought as well... which is what you'd have now... free market system.

ah man, this sucks. this is gonna drag into June at the earliest.

Both sides will never let the courts decide it. This is gamesmanship. The courts are just too unpredictable.

This is good. It should lead the players to come back to the bargaining table and quick listening to the executive director-lawyer who was trying to make a name for himself.

The ticker on NFL Network said that the court said it was an administrative stay to give them a few days to rule on a longer stay.

ah... that's what I thought it was. good.

if that's the case, we already know the players have got one judge in their pocket.
