Westminster sophomore right-hander Cheyenne Piper was named Presidents' Athletic Conference pitcher of the week.

The Ligonier Valley graduate went 3-0 with two complete games and a 0.00 ERA. She struck out 27 batters without issuing a walk over 15 1/3 innings of work. Piper opened the week with her second straight one-hitter, striking out 13 in a 13-0, five-inning Game 1 win over Franciscan. Piper earned two more wins against Allegheny, including her league-leading fifth shutout of the season in a 2-0 Game 1 victory Saturday, allowing four hits while striking out nine. She also picked up the win in Game 2, tossing 3 1/3 innings in relief and allowing just one hit while striking out five in the 7-1 win. Piper leads the conference with 126 strikeouts.
