Nebraska softball star Jordy Frahm was named Big Ten Pitcher of the Week on Monday. This is the second time that Frahm has won the honor this season.
In three games, Frahm was 2-0 with a save in 9.0 innings as a pitcher. She registered an ERA of 0.00, allowing five hits and striking out 17. Offensively, Frahm had seven hits and seven runs over the weekend.
This is the fourth time a Nebraska pitcher has been named Big Ten Pitcher of the Week this season. Oregon outfielder Elon Bulter was named conference player of the week.
On the season, Frahm is 10-4 with a 1.55 ERA. She's recorded 139 strikeouts in 29.0 innings pitched.
