With LeBron James' arrival in the City of Brotherly Love fully underway, the King has started to prepare for his first season with the Philadelphia 76ers. This includes appearing at the gym to work on his body and game ahead of his 24th NBA season. In a recent workout, the four-time league champion was spotted with one of his new teammates.

In a recent post on social media, James could be seen working out alongside his new co-star, Tyrese Maxey, with a separate post by the 41-year-old putting out quite the warning to the rest of the league, spelling out that the pair are locked in on their preparations.
Following that declaration to the rest of the association, James would put in an endorsement for his All-Star teammate, stating, "Rese [Tyrese] for President."
The 41-year-old's endorsement of his new, potential backcourt partner shouldn't come as too much of a surprise, given the leaps that Maxey has taken over the last few years, posting a career-high in points averaged (28.3) and assists per game (6.6) last season, which was enough to earn him his second All-Star nod.
Another thing that shouldn't come as all too surprising is the fact that Maxey and James are working out together during the offseason. Apart from being teammates, spotting the two together in the gym has become somewhat of an offseason tradition in recent years, with their agency ties under Klutch Sports Group often bringing them together during the summer months.
While they have great chemistry in the gym and on paper, it will be something to keep an eye on when the two take the court in the season to come, with the Philadelphia faithful's potential first viewing of their All-Star pairing coming on Thursday, October 8th, when they're slated to take on the Brooklyn Nets for their opening preseason game.
