The Los Angeles Rams will play one of their coldest games in recent memory tonight when they visit the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field. They’re prepared for freezing conditions and strong winds, with a chance of snow in Chicago, too.

Of course they weren’t able to simulate those frigid temperatures in Los Angeles this past week, but the cold and wind are bound to impact the Bears equally.

According to the latest forecast from AccuWeather, it’s going to be bitterly cold at Soldier Field, with a feels-like temperature below zero. Here’s an update on the expected weather conditions for tonight’s game in the Windy City.

Rams-Bears weather update

  • Temperature: 19 degrees
  • Feels like: -5 degrees
  • Wind: 22 mph, gusts up to 33 mph
  • Chance of precipitation: 70%
  • Snowfall: 0.3 inches

The forecast all week has called for freezing temperatures and strong winds, so the Rams have known what to expect heading into Sunday’s game. It’s not as if they’re being caught off guard by the cold conditions.

The Bears have played in three games already this season where the temperature was 32 or below, going 2-1 in those games. The Rams are 2-2 in freezing conditions under Sean McVay since 2017, while Matthew Stafford is 3-3 in such games during his career.
