Chicago is a world-class city, but it doesn't necessarily always feel that way in January. The month is easily the coldest in the Windy City, with average temperatures below 20 degrees (not including wind chill). January also has the highest average snowfall, usually eclipsing over 12 total inches within the month.

Depending on who you ask, this is good news (or bad news) for Sunday's NFC Divisional Round game between the Chicago Bears and Los Angeles Rams.

The current forecast for the matchup, per The Weather Channel, is a brisk 19 degrees. Wind chills are expected to make the temperature feel like it's in the low single digits, if not in the negatives. And that, of course, is only the high temperature. With the Bears and Rams playing in the evening, they are likely to experience some of the worst cold of the entire day. Oh, and did I mention there was probably going to be some light snow? Hoo boy.

Weather isn't everything in NFL playoff settings, but it's situations like this that make a team like the Bears earning homefield advantage clearly all the more worth it.
