On Saturday, the Pro Football Hall of Fame witnessed a new class of legends entering the hallowed halls in Canton, Ohio. Among those were Luke Kuechly, Drew Brees, Roger Craig, and a former Minnesota Vikings ball boy turned wide receiver, Larry Fitzgerald.
During his Hall of Fame speech, Fitzgerald discussed how his time around the Minnesota Vikings shaped him as a person and an athlete. He shared a joke with Cris Carter, but the stories and impact he shared regarding Randy Moss created a moment fans will never forget.
Fitzgerald shared that Moss showed up to his high school games, giving him cleats, and just being there for him during the pivotal beginning stages of his football life. He also shared, "Randy, being acknowledged by you, someone bigger than life, it meant the world to me."
With three all-time great wide receivers being attached to the Vikings is special. On the field the results speak for themselves, but off the field, as Fitzgerald has shown, they also are just as loud of a result.
