Lamar Jackson praises new Ravens 'At Your Best' practice drill

The Ravens have added a new competitive element to practice this offseason, and Lamar Jackson is already a fan.

Baltimore's "At Your Best When Your Best Is Needed" period has become a staple at the end of practice, creating competitive situations while encouraging team-wide participation. Jackson said the drill has quickly become one of his favorite parts of the day.

"I love it."

The quarterback believes the competition serves a bigger purpose than simply determining a winner.

"I feel like we're making a tight-knit group with our team, just joining in together with our guys and competing."

Jackson added that the environment remains competitive while still allowing players to enjoy themselves.

"It's a fun competition."

As the Ravens continue building chemistry under a new coaching staff, Jackson sees value in creating opportunities for teammates to connect.

"We need things like that to happen."

The season is still months away, but the Ravens are already laying the groundwork for the culture they hope carries into the fall.
