Change is always good, and Lamar Jackson looks primed for an MVP season under first-year offensive coordinator Declan Doyle. The Ravens were back on the Under Armour Performance Center practice field for the fifth day of OTA practices, and Jackson was again on the field after missing three sessions of Week 1.
The Ravens' award-winning social media team generated more offseason excitement on Thursday after releasing a new highlight video showcasing Lamar Jackson in action during organized team activities. The video quickly gained traction across social media as Ravens fans got another extended look at the two-time NFL MVP operating inside Baltimore's new offense under coordinator Declan Doyle.
Jackson appeared sharp throughout the footage, displaying the effortless arm talent, movement skills, and improvisational ability that continue making him one of the NFL's most dangerous players. The video also highlighted Baltimore's growing comfort level on offense as the Ravens continue to install new concepts during spring practices.
The release comes one day after Jackson publicly praised Doyle and described the new offensive system as "a breath of fresh air."
The chemistry between Jackson and Baltimore's young receivers also remained noticeable throughout the practice clips. Rookie wide receivers Ja'Kobi Lane and Elijah Sarratt both appeared in portions of the video as the Ravens continue integrating their 2026 draft class into an offense expected to become more versatile and explosive this season. Baltimore specifically targeted physical pass catchers during the draft capable of winning contested catches and creating matchup problems in critical situations. Jackson has already spoken positively about the collaboration developing between himself and Doyle throughout the installation process.
The Ravens are entering a pivotal season under first-year head coach Jesse Minter, but expectations remain high because of the talent surrounding Jackson on both sides of the football.
Baltimore added veteran pass rusher Trey Hendrickson during the offseason while also strengthening the offense through the draft and by continuing to develop young skill-position players. Derrick Henry returns in the backfield alongside Zay Flowers and Mark Andrews, giving Jackson another talented supporting cast entering his ninth NFL season. The OTA footage also reinforced another important point.
Jackson appears healthy, energized, and fully engaged during the early stages of the offseason program after injuries disrupted portions of the 2025 campaign. Even during an uneven season statistically by his standards, Jackson still posted strong production and remained the centerpiece of Baltimore's offensive identity.
Now, with a new offensive voice and another revamped supporting cast around him, the Ravens are hoping the combination of continuity, creativity, and improved health can help push the offense to another level. Based on the latest practice footage, Jackson already appears comfortable operating within the structure of Baltimore's evolving system. And for Ravens fans starved for football content in late May, the highlight video offered another reminder of why expectations for this team remain so high heading into 2026.

"He wants me to be involved a lot," Jackson said earlier this week. "It means a lot, because I feel like I should know what Coach Doyle is thinking when he is calling certain plays on the field."
