I personally thought it was the right move to re-sign Kyler and let the Keim/Kliff contracts expire. In hindsight with Keim/Kliff gone, the non-exclusive tag would have been okay.
More about just letting the process play out. The Ravens have concerns about Lamar's ability to stay healthy (missed multiple games the past two seasons) and the Cardinals had concerns about Kyler's professional approach. The Ravens put an offer out they are comfortable with due to their concerns and are now either going to get multiple first round picks or Lamar at a contract they are good with. If the Cardinals had more self confidence as a franchise, they would not have caved like they did.

Not sure why some people are confused as to why teams might be out on dealing with a player and his Mom that want $50m a year fully guaranteed for a player who has 1 year in 5 with a passer rating over 100.

Everything Lamar has done is based on his legs. If he couldn't run he's a Tannehill, Jones, Jimmy G level QB. Maybe a little better but not top 10.

And his running is unsustainable. He's missed 5 games each of the last 2 years.

You'd be nuts to give him a fully guaranteed deal. That's why teams are out.

Yet some in the media want to throw out thinly veiled collusion and racism accusations.

Rondale Moore: no injury concerns.

MVP Lamar Jackson: can’t trust him to stay healthy

Got it
While he's wrong on Rondale, he's right on Jackson. His play style has led to injury problems, and he will never succeed without those legs being in top shape. Well, he'll never succeed period, as he's shown himself to be a flash-in-the-pan runner without the passing nous to lead his team to the promised land.

If and when he comes back to Baltimore he’ll be freed from Greg Romans offense and may show more.

He was an effective pocket passer in a pro-style offense in college.

Hmm, that is a possibility, that he'll do better in a new offense. He has been a horrible passer when given the opportunity in the pros, however, and his college resume doesn't matter now. It's a curious similarity to KM. Is the old coach to blame? How much is the QB to blame?

Show me where I've said Rondale doesn't have injury concerns?

No wonder everyone here is always so angry when they can't read. Must be frustrating.

I said Rondale will be a good player if/when he can he sort his body out.

It's weird people being so sure that Rondale is a sure fire injury bust when the league is littered with similar players. One of them in playing left tackle for us and everyone seems pretty happy with him.

So just to be clear. You would give him a $50m per year fully guaranteed deal for 4 years?

Also, a lot of QB needy teams pick top 10 aren't going to give that up before the draft. They will see where the dust settles and look to negotiate after. Maybe the guaranteed expectation will also die down a bit.

I think the guarantee expectation should drop after he sees no one is willing to give it to him. Will he see the light, though?
