Lady Vols-Northern Kentucky all-time softball series

No. 7 national seed Tennessee (42-10) will host Northern Kentucky (26-23) Friday in the first round of the Knoxville Regional.

First pitch between the Lady Vols and Norse is slated for 5:30 p.m. EDT at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium. SEC Network will televise the contest.

Friday will mark the third time for Tennessee to play Northern Kentucky. The Lady Vols have a 3-0 record in previous games during the all-time series, dating to 2015. The schools have played two times in Knoxville, including once during the NCAA Tournament.

The two schools first played on Feb. 8, 2015 with the Lady Vols winning, 15-2, in Kennesaw, Georgia. Tennessee first played Northern Kentucky in Knoxville on Feb. 28, 2021 when the Lady Vols earned an, 8-0, victory at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium.

The schools last played on May 19, 2023. Tennessee won, 12-0, in the NCAA Tournament at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium.
