The visiting Lady Villains bolted out to a huge lead in the first quarter and cruised to a 66-16 win over the College Prep & Leadership Academy on Friday night.
Bishop McGuinness led 26-7 by the end of the first quarter and had a commanding 43-15 lead at halftime.
Three players scored in double figures for the Lady Villains: Claire Sullivan finished with 21 points, and Jenna Moore and Lillian Schultz had 10 points apiece. Sullivan scored 18 points in the first quarter. Bishop McGuinness hit 13 three-pointers in the game.
The Lady Villains (10-2) were scheduled to play an away nonconference game against High Point Christian Academy (4-2) on Tuesday, Jan. 13, at 7 p.m.
