SPRINGFIELD, Mo–The Missouri State Lady Bears are in the middle of an unprecedented four game home stand.

And MoState is hoping to climb back up the standings with the help of the home floor.

In our Bear Nation update, the Lady Bears snapped a three game losing streak by beating Delaware on Saturday 83-57.

Tuesday night, the Lady Bears will make up a snowed out game against Sam Houston.

And Beth Cunningham’s crew will look to get revenge on the Bearkats who beat them in Texas 11 days ago.

And coach says the four games in eight days will help get them ready for the postseason.

“I definitely think it’s something we can build off of, there’s no question about it. If you ask them they’d rather play right now then practice anyways. But I definitely think the quick turnarounds from a mental standpoint, a physical standpoint, completely different styles of play. You look at how Delaware played today and how Liberty plays. For us to be able to handle that on quick turnarounds definitely helps build good habits for down the road in the tournament,” said Cunningham.
