Tony Bruno show had guy from group working on getting the NFL back to LA. Rose Bowl being renovated to lure team.
He mentioned Vikings, Chargers and Colts as primary candidates for a move.
Also mentioned, that like fans in non-NFL cities everywhere, LA fans would prefer an expansion franchise.
I like the idea that if you go ten years without at least two winning seasons your franchise is terminated and an expansion team is awarded to another city. As compensation you get money from the expansion franchise fee along with two NHL franchises.
I don't know what those people in L. A. are thinking, but does it not make much more sense to build a new stadium for about $100 million less??
I mean, you're already extending the life of an already ancient stadium, well maybe not quite that old, but frankly it is an old, old stadium. You have old concrete, old plumbing & who knows what other repairs are needed with wiring etc, foundation.
