It sounds like Kyle Williams has some work to do.
The New England Patriots have a crowded WR depth chart with everyone healthy, and if Williams isn't careful, he could end up on the outside looking in.
The Boston Herald reported Monday, for example, that Williams ran as the WR7 in training camp practice:

That's not a good status report on the Pats' 2025 third-round pick out of Washington State.
Williams appeared in all 17 games as a rookie and caught 10 passes for 209 yards and three touchdowns.
It was always going to be tough for him to climb much higher at the moment. The Patriots added A.J. Brown and Romeo Doubs, and if they don't trade Kayshon Boutte, that's the top-three wideouts.
Then there's veteran Mack Hollins and the explosive 'Pop' Douglas.
If the second-year undrafted player Efton Chism III has leapfrogged Williams, that's not ideal.
Teams don't often keep seven wide receivers after the preseason, although these Patriots might consider it if everyone stays healthy.
Still, Williams is at or near the bottom. He's got some climbing to do.
