Since being acquired by the Golden State Warriors at the NBA trade deadline, Kristaps Porzingis has played two games in gold and blue. After making his highly anticipated debut on Feb. 19 against the Boston Celtics, Porzingis didn't suit up for another game until March 7 against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Porzingis missed six consecutive games with an illness. While Porzingis was ruled out, head coach Steve Kerr called the 7-foot-2 big man's illness "a little mysterious. Despite his illness lingering, it appears Porzingis is moving on from his illness and feeling positive about where his health is at.

After the Warriors' 104-97 loss to the Thunder on Saturday, Porzingis spoke to members of the media and said his body is coming back to where it needs to be and he believes he is healthy now.

I felt like my body is coming back to where it needs to be. Obviously, got one workout in, but felt pretty decent. Especially after getting traded, I just wanted to get out there as soon as possible, so it was stinging me a little bit. But it was okay today. I still feel a little bit heavy; shots are not in good rhythm yet, missing free throws and all that, but, we're going to build from this game. I think I will be looking better and better each game.

Just some health stuff, a little bit. And I believe I will be healthy now. This is what I really feel. Not to sell anything, because obviously I’ve been in and out, and out again, but this time I really feel that this is it. And finally getting out there healthy.

Porzingis played 23 minutes off the bench on Saturday against the Thunder, recording nine points, five rebounds, five assists and a block in Golden State's loss. In two games with the Warriors, Porzingis is averaging 10.5 points on 42.1% shooting from the field and 25% from beyond the arc with three rebounds, three assists and a block in 20 minutes per game.

Porzingis will get Monday night off against the Utah Jazz before the Warriors return back to Chase Center on Tuesday night against the Chicago Bulls.
