Konrad Laimer suffers pre-season injury setback in Bayern’s first Allianz Arena game
Konrad Laimer suffered an injury in FC Bayern’s friendly game against his former club, RB Leipzig. The Austrian international was substituted inside the first ten minutes as he needed support when he left the pitch.
Sacha Boey, who is among the list of players Bayern want to offload this summer, came on in his place. Meanwhile, João Palhinha is out of the matchday squad as he continues to be linked with a move to Premier League even after Aston Villa snub.
Josip Stanišić is also absent from today’s game due to illness. Luis Diaz’s trademark strike was the difference between the sides at the break in the Telekom Cup fixture.
