For the first time since 1999, the New York Knicks will be playing in the NBA Finals.
The club's magic carpet ride through the 2026 postseason reached another milestone on May 25 as the Knicks defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 130-93 in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals to end the 27-year NBA Finals drought.
After finishing as the No. 3 in the Eastern Conference following the regular season, the Knicks are on a red-hot streak in the postseason. New York is on an 11-game winning streak after being down 2-1 in their first-round series against the Atlanta Hawks.
Now, the biggest test awaits in the form of either the defending NBA champion Oklahoma City Thunder or San Antonio Spurs. The two juggernauts are locked in a battle of a Western Conference Finals.
The Thunder finished as the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference with 64 wins in the regular season, while the Spurs finished second with 62 wins.
