this says two things:

1) Drew needs to draw more intermediate and deep plays

2) Kyler has to make quicker decisions
Most passing plays have a short, intermediate, deep, and a hot route. K1 has to decide which route he's throwing to. It should be his pre-snap read combined with his post snap look to decide where to go with the ball.

In the past I believe he didn't go deep often because he was scared to stand in the pocket and take a hit. He mostly did it with 1 in 1 coverage so he still let go early. I will give him credit, yesterday he looked better standing in the pocket and letting things develop. Even when he was scrambling he was looking down field. He just didn't look very accurate when throwing on the move.

I think most of us here agree with you that our offensive coordinator has a lot to be desired. But there's times when Kyler has opportunities that he's not taking advantage of and that's what everybody's pointing out
I agree 100%! I was at the game and there were at least 5-6 times where either McBride or Harrison was open. What we don’t know is were they open because the defense sniffed our offensive play or did Murray just not see them. Ay some point, KM has to start seeing more of the field. I doubt he can so he will be an average QB at best.

it seems there are a number of different measures of this and they all have diff numbers -- some say he wasnt unusually pressured, some say he was.

to me, it looked like early he was pressured, but as the game went on the protection improved. who knows

Yeah, this chart implies that he had great protection.

Yeah but he is a horrible HC sooooooooo.

You guys don't seem to understand that K2 never should have been hired right out of college as a HC. It rarely works and the guys that are good OCs in the NFL do get HC jobs. We will see if K2 does get another shot.

Have you heard yourself?

You guys complained above Kliff for years saying he was holding Kyler back. Then his very next job with the same scheme he has Daniels as a top 5 QB in the league as a rookie.
