Johannes Høsflot Klæbo completed a perfect cross-country skiing World Cup weekend in Lahti, Finland with victory in the men's 10-kilometre race, while Frida Karlsson overcame a stumble to win the women's event on Sunday.

Norway's Klæbo was victorious after 23 minutes 22.6 seconds, beating team-mate Martin Løwstrøm Nyenget by 22.1 seconds.

The day before, the title holder also won the sprint as a sixth overall World Cup title is now a matter of time with five races left.

Last month, Klæbo became the most successful Winter Olympic athlete of all time after claiming a record six gold medals at the Milan/Cortina Games.

Sweden's Karlsson led a one-two ahead of compatriot Linn Svahn after slipping up on a corner around the halfway mark.

But she bounced back to complete the race in 25:57.6 minutes, 4.1 seconds ahead of Svahn.

World Cup leader and title holder Jessie Diggins of the United States was third.
