Lot's of potential for bitching about or praising new hires. Then you have a probable scheme change. Roster turnover. More players in and out than usual. It makes for exciting off season and gives you the hope that all those pieces fall into place and everything is magically fixed.
Of course, the reality more times than not is the opposite, especially for a franchise like the Cards that can't attract the best people. You get a crappy HC like Wilks, you get a patched together coaching staff from the unemployment line. You get disgruntled players who were happy with the previous coaching and think the new guy is a bum.
