The 2026 UK HealthCare Boys Sweet 16 is set for Wednesday-Saturday, March 18-21, at Rupp Arena in Lexington.
The field includes eight of the 16 teams in the final Kentucky High School Boys Basketball Media poll — No. 2 Covington Catholic, No. 3 St. Xavier, No. 4 George Rogers Clark, No. 6 Warren Central, No. 8 North Oldham, No. 12 North Laurel, No. 13 Butler and No. 14 Boyd County.
St. Xavier is in the field for the second straight year and has a highly anticipated first-round matchup against Covington Catholic. Butler (first trip since 2019) and North Oldham (first trip since 2022) are the other Louisville-area representatives.
